version 5.17

Hi all,

Version 5.17 has been released. This is the self-hosting release. Both 
the scanners and the parsers have been completely rewritten. For 
context-free parsing I use Kelbt, another project of mine.

This release has been tested, but I still believe that problems are 
likely to show up. A lot of code that hasn't been touched for a really 
long time is suddenly way different. Please post any problems you have 
to the mailing list.
