Hi,

I commented out "write data" in awkemu.rl from the examples directory.

$ diff awkemu.rl awkemu1.rl
57c57
< %% write data noerror nofinal;
---
> #%% write data noerror nofinal;

But when I compare the generated c files. I don't see any differences.
What is the purpose of "write data"?

$ diff awkemu*.c
